To uncover the problem, we first asked four crucial questions:
Through our discovery call with Waistlab.co, we found out that they were not testing their ads. Unable to compare their ads, they were not able to track them. Hence, they were unable to pinpoint exactly what to change (creative/copy/targeting/funnel) to improve their ads.
Secondly, after uncovering their CPA and customer LTV. We found our that they are actually just breaking even on each customer running ads. The marketing team was shocked to see that they were actually not performing as well as they thought even though the ROAS metric showed positive.
