gush is an innovative building materials company that helps make our environment work harder for us. Their core product being an air purifying paint. Their main challenge was tracking their advertising metrics accurately, getting an accurate understanding of their digital ad spend KPIs and driving higher quality leads for their business.
We took a data-driven approach when identifying what were their current KPIs when it comes to acquiring a customer digitally and what they are currently doing. From there, we identify multiple key foundational mistakes to help improve the accuracy of their data and more clarity on the consumer journey to help their company make better decisions.

Running through our DTC success checklist, we noticed that they were using too many custom conversion events and did not set-up their 8 aggregated events in order to reduce the impacts of iOS14.5 updates.
Secondly, we uncovered that instead of doing 20x ROAS like the co-founder thought, they were only doing 2-3x ROAS on average; one of the most important things we discovered.
Next, we mapped out the digital consumer journey and identified multiple leaking holes within their marketing strategy.
This allowed us to find new angles, explore new markets and improve their messaging + targeting.
Being clear on the angles, audiences, messaging and offers allows us to create a strong foundation which their digital marketing efforts can be built upon.
Once we’ve identified all the necessary moving parts of a strong DTC marketing strategy, we begun re-initiating their marketing efforts through Facebook ads and Google SEM.
With that, we were able to flood their business with higher quality leads and increased their ROAS from 2-3x to 5x.
